About
1two3ty1 is a challenge about photographing numbers & posting them online. This is gonna be a group activity.
Timeline
Name Origin
- 1 to 31 - is the timeline of this challenge & so forms the base.
- 1 two 31 - as its about numbers
- 1 two 3ty1 - 30 is written as 3ty.
Challenge Entries
Guidelines
- Take a pic of a number corresponding to the date of the day & post it online (via Blogs or Photo Management sites).
- Each pic (or rather entry) should be accompanied by
- A description of where the number was found.
- Any special technique used to take that shot. (using light dampers, etc)
- Or optionally, The picture (long shot) of the object in which the number was found.
- The numbers you picture should be distinctly separated from others. For eg: 26-09-2007 can be shot for 26 or 9, not for 2/6/0/9/7.
- The shots shall be taken either indoor or outdoor.
- In a case, where a specific number can't be found, a shot that depicts the number can be submitted. This is permitted to foster creativity.
- All shots, be it portrait or landscape, should be atleast 320x240 pixels in size.
- No 2 pics should be taken out of the same object.
- No digital manipulation of the pic is allowed. However color/contrast correction is allowed.
- All posts/pictures are to be
- tagged with the word "1two3ty1" [and/or].
- the title of the post to have the word "1two3ty1".

Pre-requisites
- Time & Interest.
- Digital camera (even a camera phone would be suffice)
- A Blog account. (even with a photo management site such as flickr.com or photobucket.com would suffice)
- Create a free blog at wordpress.com or blogger.com
- Link to your RSS/Atom feeds with Full post text.
Things of concern
- This is a daily event, so posting on a daily basis is little tedious.
- Access to sites such as flickr.com, blogger.com, etc are of a concern. Many employers block them.
